Formed in a Harris Tweed mill in 1998, Face The West are truly one of the originators of electro-trad. Taking early influence from renegades such as Wolfstone and Martyn Bennett, they have since blazed their own trail through Scottish traditional music. The band’s founding members grew up in the Outer Hebrides, where the strong culture of the Gaidhealtachd instilled in them a respect for traditional tunes that they’ve carried from their very first gig around a stormy bonfire to the most prestigious festival stages in the country. Face the West have energy in spades: screaming synth solos, brash guitars, and unrelenting dance beats. But their love for pipe, accordion, and fiddle tunes still takes centre stage, unifying ravers and trad purists alike with a sound that celebrates Scottish music’s past and toasts slàinte mhath to its future.
Beinn Lee are a six-piece band from Uist in the Outer Hebrides. 2021 saw the release of their anticipated second album DEÒ, following their 2018 debut album OSGARRA. Both were produced by Ross B. Wilson, member of widely popular Scottish band Tide Lines. Described by renowned piper Fred Morrison as “a breath of fresh air”: “the feel of the Uist music runs beautifully throughout and the sensitive vocals and top drawer musicianship add up to one of the most exciting musical prospects I have heard in a long time." Formed in 2013, the band are rooted in the west coast style of traditional music. The collective inheritance of Gaelic song and west coast pipe music of members Micheal Steele, Pàdruig Morrison, Mairi Therese Gilfedder, James Stewart, Anna Black, and Seoras Lewis provide a very strong Gaelic traditional backbone to their music, but their music of contemporary and self-penned tunes and songs are infused with diverse modern influences. The band have performed a wide variety of gigs from the beginning including festivals across Scotland, as well as in France and Belgium. The band have twice supported Skipinnish, including once at the famous Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, as well as supporting Trail West there also in 2023. 2024 has been another busy year with appearances at Skye Live, Tiree Music Festival and Eilean Dorcha Festival, as well as the release of another original song ‘Home Below the Ben’. 2025 will see the realise of album number 3.

Rapidly becoming one of Ireland’s most popular entertainment acts. The Tumbling Paddies have grown from strength to strength, particularly in the past two years. It is no surprise that their music is played in many venues throughout the world. Originally starting out in 2014 as a five-piece performing at local weddings and pubs in their beloved County Fermanagh the band has continuously evolved to where they are today. It wasn’t long until Oisin came in on keyboards and the band started to expand on their music gaining more and more followers as they toured. A major turning point was the chance introduction with Manager Andrew Cox after a performance in Belleek, County Fermanagh. Andrew gave the lads the drive and determination to record and perform throughout Ireland and further afield. After a few years of heavy gigging and indeed the band's first album of ten original tracks they have attracted a large group of loyal fans throughout Ireland and further afield. They continue to sell out venues up and down Ireland such as the TF Castlebar and the INEC in Killarney as well as many venues throughout the world having previously toured in Dubai, Germany, Spain, and England. Songwriting and original material is a major part of The Tumbling Paddies. Many of these songs have been hits over the last number of years including 'Pretty Girl' and 'Night on the Town' but the band's major success is 'The Way I Am' which topped the Irish charts for 10 weeks. It is no surprise that the band is in hot demand with their exuberant energy-filled live show. Their mix of Original Material along with many classics brings you one of the best nights of entertainment out there.

Raised in Stranraer on a diet of Robert Burns and Harry Lauder, Jarad Rowan is a Scots balladeer for the 21st century. His love for traditional Scottish song began in childhood, however it was during the pandemic that Rowan found his audience, amassing over half a million followers off the back of his home recorded renditions of the songs he grew up with. On his debut album (out soon on Wee Studio Records) Jarad takes the tartan anthems of days gone by and shocks them to life with foot-stomping, ceilidh-bangers, creating singalong folk and trad anthems for the modern era. His magnetic charisma and bold, rich voice have won over audiences all around Scotland from pub stages to festival headlines.
